AWOL design
Edited to add: Wow! I got in touch with Susie at Bluebird Blogs (link on the left sidebar) and she fixed things the very same day! Just a problem with her storage site so she moved the images. Awesome service. Thanks Susie!

I'm not leaving or anything, but my blog design has decided to depart. Urgh.

Not sure what happened with the sweet lady who designed the blog, but all my art is gone. I'm really bummed, and I don't have time right now to do anything about it.

I hope to blog more when we wrap up school next week, and I hope to have time to work on the design then, too. I'm not closing up shop as much as it may look like it!

Here!
I'm here, it's just been a whirlwind since Bud got home from his GREAT trip, telling us all to start learning Spanish. We aren't moving to Honduras just yet, but once again, the wheels are turning.

Anyway, I hate it when my bloggy friends disappear without an explanation, because I worry. Don't worry about me, I'm fine, just happily busy.

If anyone wants to take the Weekend Warrior thing and run with it this weekend, feel free.

Be back soon!

Love, Amy

Weekend Warriors

It's time for another go. Sorry I've been absent this week. Bud has been gone, and well, truth be told, I'm not at my best when he isn't here. It takes all of my brain to keep everyone fed, clothed and to soccer on time. All of my brain and the kids' constant reminders that they do, in fact, need to eat every. single. day.

But, Bud gets home tomorrow!!! So I have a big list of Weekend Warrior projects to complete before we pick him up:

Replace the side of the bathtub where the exterminator had to go in and kill the termites.

Grocery shop.

Make some good food so it will be ready for Bud when he gets back. Since he's traveling internationally, I'm not sure about delays or when he'll be hungry. So I'm thinking potato salad, corn like my brother Gary makes, a brisket (though it won't marinade overnight at this point), some homemade bread, and some lemony iced tea.

Bud still has the camera, so I can't post a before of the tub or the empty refrigerator. But maybe Bud will let me post some pictures of the village they went to in Honduras when he gets back. I'm pretty sure he will, 'cause he's nice like that.

So, what's your weekend project? Add your link below so we can all see what you're up to and be inspired by your greatness!
