Baby Toes and other important matters
I was looking through some pictures of Romy this evening and I couldn't help but notice her toes. I wonder why she curls the left and extends the right toes? Whatever the reason, those toes are great for kissing.

Tonight we babysat 9 other kids while their parents went to the Young Life Banquet. We decided that since we've been to the YL banquet for the past three years, that this year we may be doing more for YL by babysitting so others could go than if we actually went ourselves. Let me tell you that Romy LOVES having all those kids around. Her little eyes were shining the entire time. Also, the movie Eragon was a big hit with the whole crew.

Last week we went to the Pumpkin Patch to feed the animals, take a hayride and get some pumpkins. There are those toes again, btw.

We went to the State Fair this week. It was fun, but very pricy. The ferris wheel was just incredible, as you can see from the very cool view. Luke and Peyton rode the swing ride. Remember those? I loved that ride so much when I was a kid.

Bud remembers this from when he was a boy, but I've never heard it. I think it's very cute.

I went to the Animal Fair
The birds and the beasts were there
The big baboon by the light of the moon
Was combing his shiny hair

You should have seen the monk
He sat on the elephant's trunk
The elephant sneezed and fell on his knees
And that was the end of the monk
The monk, the monk, the monk.

Said a flea to a fly in a flue
Said the flea "Oh what shall we do?"
Said the fly, "Let us flee!"; said the flea, "Let us fly!"
So they flew through a flaw in the flue

Have a happy week!

Photo Update
What's going on with us in pictures:

We're feeding and growing around here. The band around Romy's toe is her ankle i.d. tag from the hospital. It kept falling off when we were in the hospital.

Luke loves having a baby sister.

Peyton is wearing an eye patch for lazy eye. If it works she will be able to stop wearing glasses! Notice that her patch is pink and cute, like her.
