L: "Wow! There's room in the glass! Can I put these dinosaurs in there? And these rocks, and this piece of paper? So what if a little spills, we can always clean it up."

P: "There's water in the glass. But one little tip and... Look at all that glorious water! Couldn't you just swim in it? I mean why does it need to be contained in a glass?"

A: "Yes, it's very nice, that half-full glass. But with a few simple calculations, I'm sure I can fill it to the brim without spilling a drop. I'm sure of it."

B: "MOVE AWAY FROM THE GLASS. I REPEAT, MOVE AWAY FROM THE GLASS. For the love of Pete, woman, can't you see the glass is half full? Why would you want to disturb it?"
